Rockstar releases the GTA 6 Launch Trailer: "Coming November 19"
Rockstar's final pre-release trailer landed on October 15, 2026, five weeks before launch. It closes on "Coming November 19. Rated M for Mature." Slightly altered versions are airing as TV spots.
Rockstar published the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026, on its Newswire and YouTube. If you have been searching for "GTA 6 Trailer 3", this is the trailer that followed Trailer 1 (December 2023) and Trailer 2 (May 2025); the August Netflix premiere was a gameplay showcase rather than a trailer.
Rockstar's own synopsis sets it up: "Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America." The trailer ends with a narrator reading "Coming November 19. Rated M for Mature," which is as close to a final date confirmation as Rockstar gives.
The music is "Flower in a Hurricane" from Justice, the French duo Rockstar has named as composers of the game's original score. Polygon reported on October 23 that two slightly altered versions of the trailer are airing as TV commercials.
What is next on the calendar: pre-load, reported for November 12 from PlayStation Store data, and launch on November 19. Our events page tracks both, with the confidence of each date.
