Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI opened on June 25, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Two editions are available: the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. It is the first mainline GTA priced above $70.
Ultimate Edition contents, per Rockstar's reveal: six exclusive vehicles (including a '95 Grotti Cheetah, a Dinka Enduro and a Shitzu Squalo), four weapon variants, multiple cosmetic packs, six shops, a dedicated garage and one exclusive side mission unavailable to Standard owners at launch. Every pre-order, either edition, receives the Vintage Vice City Pack.
There is no physical collector's edition, no SteelBook, map or merch bundle, unlike GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar's page notes the game "Plays Best on PlayStation 5", a marketing partnership line rather than a technical claim.
