GTA 6 on PC: nothing announced, but a report points to early 2027
No PC version, date or system requirements have been announced. GamesBeat reports a Q1 2027 target from four unnamed sources; Rockstar has not commented. Any spec list you see online is a guess.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar has not announced a PC version, a PC date, or system requirements. Any "official requirements" list circulating online is fan speculation.
The pattern from previous releases is the only guide: GTA V launched on consoles in September 2013 and reached PC in April 2015, about 18 months later. Red Dead Redemption 2 followed a similar cadence. Analysts broadly expect a PC port 12 to 18 months after console launch, which points to 2027 or 2028. Take-Two's CEO has described the staggered PC approach as a deliberate business decision.
Update, October 29, 2026: on October 13 GamesBeat reported, citing "four industry sources familiar with the studio's plans", that Rockstar intends to release the PC version within the first three months of 2027, a much shorter gap than GTA V's roughly 19 months. Rockstar did not respond to GamesBeat's request for comment and has announced nothing, so this stays a report, not a date. Other outlets have since floated later 2027 windows, also unconfirmed.
Likewise there is no PS5 Pro-specific version, no last-gen version and no Switch 2 version announced.
