Rockstar delays GTA VI to November 19, 2026
The second delay moved the game six months from May 26. Rockstar apologised and promised the extra time would go into polish.
On November 6, 2025 Rockstar announced on its Newswire that Grand Theft Auto VI would move from May 26, 2026 to November 19, 2026. The statement: "We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve."
It was the second delay after the move from a broad fall 2025 window to May 26, 2026 announced in May 2025. Take-Two's guidance was adjusted accordingly and the company has held the November date ever since.
